Ivy Gann is a senior at Eastside High School in Covington.  Ivy started a non-profit organization named “One Dollar, One Can, One Day,” with the goal of replenishing local food banks by collecting canned goods and cash on a designated day in schools, churches, and businesses. She serves as spokesperson for the project and is fully responsible for the website, publicity and overall growth and development.  Ivy is passionate about feeding the hungry and has plans to expand her program to other communities in Georgia.
