Melody Yin is a senior at Northview High School in Duluth.  Melody is co-founder of Take a Swing Inc., a non-profit that teaches tennis to disadvantaged children from economically challenged communities. Founded in 2007, the organization has been featured on The Today Show, and has been awarded multiple grants, including an award from Nike. The organization goes beyond teaching tennis by mentoring and teaching invaluable life skills, such as positive attitudes, and cooperation.
