On Saturday at the Goizueta Teen Leadership Summit, Daneea Badio, winner of the Learning Channel's reality show "The Messenger," inspired the students to begin the day. Then students participated in leadership and service workshops hand-crafted for 21st Century Leaders by MBA students.
The Servant Leadership track focused on leadership through service and included low-ropes course teambuilding activates and a community service project at a homeless shelter.
In the Personal Leadership track, students built critical thinking, presentation and communication skills while forming teams, brainstorming and presenting ideas for imporving their schools.
Seven teams participated in the Business Case Competition. They were challenged to come up with a public relations and marketing plan for the Atlanta Falcons. First-time participants from Marietta High School were the winners!
