Celebrating 20 Outstanding Youth Leaders

(September 18, 2017) Atlanta, GA – Do you know a high school student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills by starting their own business, charity, or initiative? Or has the student given back to the community in an extraordinary way? 21st Century Leaders (21CL), a business-led initiative and non-profit that provides youth leadership program for Georgia high school students, is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 10TH annual Georgia Youth Leadership Awards.

21st Century Leaders’ Georgia Youth Leadership Awards honor 20 outstanding youth leaders under the age of 20 throughout the state who have made a significant positive impact locally or globally. In celebration of 10 years of Georgia Youth Leadership Awards, candidates eligible for nomination must be a current 21st Century Leaders student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership skills.

The final 20 award winners are honored, as a culminating celebration of National Youth Leadership Month, at the Georgia Youth Leadership Awards on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Georgia. Each awardee will be presented with a $250 mini-grant and specially recognized by Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under 40 members.

Once nominations are in, a distinguished panel of professionals, volunteers, and 40 under 40 members will thoroughly review each candidate and select the top 20. The final awardees will be selected and notified in January. Submission deadline is Friday, December 1, 2017. Nominations can be made online at
