The 21CL Youth Ambassadors are the faces and voices of the organization, representing the more than 800 Georgia high school students of 21st Century Leaders each year.
21CL Youth Ambassadors are responsible for 21CL speaking engagements at leadership training events and fundraising events, organizing community service projects and creating meaningful opportunities to engage more 21st Century Leaders. The Youth Ambassadors serve as 21CL advocates to empower other high school students across the state to join 21st Century Leaders and to connect 21CL students, volunteers, alumni and supporters. Students collaborate to generate and produce multimedia content for 21CL’s social and online platforms, post live during our school-year events and leadership summits, create videos for our new online learning system Leadership Connect, attend exclusive workshops, and editorialize the end-of-the-year senior publication, Let Youth Voices Be Heard.
The Youth Ambassadors are motivated and diverse students from across the state of Georgia who are committed to inspiring one another to lead. They represent the distinct ideas, opinions, attitudes, knowledge, and actions of exemplary leaders as a collective body.
Mission: The Youth Ambassadors’ mission is to serve as student ambassadors for 21st Century Leaders by upholding the organization’s mission and vision through servant-leadership while creating meaningful opportunities for Georgia’s next generation of youth leaders. The Youth Ambassadors strive to bring awareness to 21CL through a united voice, community service and outreach while enhancing our leadership and interpersonal skills. Our goal is to establish a strong foundation that cultivates future generations of leaders who can further expand our accomplishments.
Note: The Youth Leadership Team, formerly comprised of the Youth Ambassadors and the Youth Leadership Council, has combined into one group (Youth Ambassadors) for the 2018-2019 school year. Students will have an opportunity to serve on various committees that encompass the roles of both.
