As a member of the 21CL Summer Leadership Team, you are a crucial and important member of our organization and play a key role in the success of our students. All roles for the summer will be shared among all Leadership Team members and will be assigned by the Summer Institute Director and 21CL staff from week to week and day to day.
To be eligible for this position you must be available for the entire week-long summer institute and must be present from beginning to end. For in-person institutes, you must be prepared to stay on campus and go on any field trips/off-site visits, with the team and the students at all times. There will be breaks during the week but they will scheduled by the Summer Institute Director to make sure coverage of all students is maintained at all times. Any emergency or prior arrangement that presents itself must be arranged with the Summer Institute Director and 21CL Staff.
This is a full-time position; for residential programs, each member of the 21CL Summer Leadership Team will receive a stipend at the end of the week, which are subject to applicable taxes. All team members also receive free room and board on campus during the institute. For virtual programs, SLT members serve as volunteer mentors and must be available for their assignments the entire program week.
All team members will be required to a background check and will need to completed a Mandated Reporter training in order to be eligible. For in-person institutes, you must be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to your assigned institute.
